Eat, Drink & Be Married!

She loved that he was a feminist, and he enjoyed her sense of humor – she joked about being an absurd art critic -- we both swiped right. We met for drinks, planning to visit the galleries in Dupont. Lost in conversation, we never made it into one. Instead, we wandered around DC, talking for hours. Not wanting the night to end, and all the galleries closed, we found some hole-in-the-wall art studio where we could grab a drink and paint on the walls. We don't remember where it was or what we painted, just the silliness of the moment. There we were – wearing suits from the office, in a room from the set of Rent – holding paint brushes and smiling ear-to-ear. That was five years ago. We've been smiling and laughing together ever since.
